Another Gospel: A Lifelong Christian seeks truth in response to progressive Christianity

By Alisa Childers

In Another Gospel Alissa writes about her experiences in a church that later redefined itself as a progressive Christian community. During that time she did not realize the direction this church had been going until the pastor invited her to a class he starting. It turns out the class itself really was tailored to walk people down a path of deconstruction in their faith raising objections to the historically core beliefs of the Church. With each chapter she goes through the different objections raised by the pastor and other progressives she has read about. After explaining their objection she then gives answers to these objections with what she now knows.

I found the book well written and easy to read and understand her answers to the objections I found very compelling. I would highly recommend this book to every Christian I know It is a must read. The book shows us how dangerous the views of the progressive church are and how we should understand these views. I would give this book a 10 out of 10.

Alisa Childers is currently a blogger and worship leader. She speaks at different Christian and apologetics conferences. For more information about her you can go the her website Alisachilders.com for her blog and I would highly recommend her podcast the Alisa Chliders podcast.

When you throw Jesus under the bus for your social agenda

In this video Mike talks about Brandon Robertson view on Mark 7:26 on the Syrophoenician women whose daughter was demon-possessed. Mike shows us how this interpretation is deeply rooted in Critical race theory and a social justice agenda as opposed to trying to understand it in its original context.
